What we say before we start

Disclaimer

This page puts in writing what we say out loud before starting: what we do, what we do not do, what is up to us and what is not. It does not replace the contract or the offer you sign: where the two differ, what you signed wins.

What we are not

  • We are not accountants, we are not a law firm, and we are not licensed financial advisers. We do not give tax, legal or investment advice, and nothing on this site should be taken as such.
  • We are not a registered news outlet and we do not control the newsrooms we work with.
  • What we do is operational: filings, content, systems. Where a licensed professional is required we say so, and point you to one if you want.

US companies

  • We handle formation and filings. Your tax position depends on where you live and how you get paid, and must be assessed by an accountant: a US LLC does not automatically remove tax due where you are resident.
  • Timelines depend on third parties: the filing state, the IRS for the EIN, the registered agent. We state the timelines we typically see; we do not guarantee them.
  • Opening a bank account is the bank's decision. We prepare the application the way that works most often, but a refusal remains possible and is not up to us.
  • Annual deadlines remain yours. If you put the recurring upkeep in our hands we track them; if you do not, we do not track them for you.

Press and reputation

  • We do not sell news and we do not buy opinions. What we pitch must be true and verifiable, and the decision to publish stays with the outlet.
  • We do not guarantee publication in a specific outlet, a publication date, or where the piece appears. Where a placement is guaranteed because the space is paid, we say so upfront and it is written in the offer.
  • Removing content from Google or from a website is not a result anyone can promise. It depends on the host and on the grounds the law allows. We say upfront which routes have a real chance and which do not.
  • A published article can be edited or removed by the outlet at any time, even years later. We have no way to prevent that.

SEO and AI visibility

  • Nobody can guarantee a position on Google or being cited by an AI assistant. Anyone who guarantees it is either selling paid placements or does not know how this works.
  • Algorithms change without notice and can undo results already achieved. What we measure and report is the state on a given date, not a promise about the future.

Systems, automation and messaging

  • The systems we build run on third-party platforms (WhatsApp, Meta, Google, email and payment providers). Their rules change, and they can limit or close an account under their own policies.
  • We work to stay inside those rules and we tell you where the risk is, but a suspension decided by the platform is not up to us and is not a defect in the work delivered.
  • A delivered system needs maintenance. Without an active support plan we do not monitor it and we do not step in when it breaks.

Academy, MeskBrain and materials

  • Courses, notes and resources are training: they describe how we work. They are not a guarantee of results and do not replace advice from a licensed professional for your case.
  • MeskBrain contains no hacking material and no techniques for getting around copyright protection. That is a choice, and it holds on every plan.
  • Materials are for you. They are not to be resold, republished or shared outside your account.
  • Access lasts as long as the subscription. When it lapses you fall back to the free tier and lose access to the rest.

What we need from you, and timelines

  • Almost every job needs material from you: documents, copy, photos, access, approvals. The offer says what is needed and by when.
  • Until that material arrives the work does not start and the clock does not run. A delay in handing it over moves delivery later, not earlier.
  • Prices, terms and availability hold for the period stated in the offer. After that, a job stalled for missing material may need a new offer: supplier costs and outlet terms change, and they do not stand still.
  • Where this section sets a forfeiture against you, it only takes effect if you specifically approved it in writing on the offer. We do not take it as implied.

Prices, payments and refunds

  • Prices on the site are indicative until there is a written offer for your case. The offer is what counts.
  • Where we have already paid third parties on your behalf (state fees, registered agent, placements, suppliers), that part is not refundable.
  • A discount given on specific conditions holds on those conditions. If they fall away, the full price applies.

Limits

  • We answer for the work we deliver. We do not answer for third-party decisions (newsrooms, platforms, banks, public bodies), nor for the commercial results the work may or may not bring you.
  • You are responsible for the truth and legitimacy of the material you hand us, including rights to images and copy.
  • Here too: a limitation of liability only takes effect if specifically approved in writing. Where it is not, the law applies.

If any of these lines does not sit right with you, say so before we start rather than after: we change the offer, write it differently, or we do not do it. That is the moment when it costs both of us the least.
