US LLC formation
You have read that a US LLC means lower taxes and dollar payments, but every source says something different, and nobody explains year two.
What we do
We start from your case: residence, where clients are, how you get paid. That decides the state, which is often not the fashionable one. Then we file, appoint the registered agent and draft the operating agreement banks actually ask for.
What's included
- Case review and choice of state, justified in writing
- Formation and Articles of Organization
- Registered agent for the first year
- Operating agreement
- Registered US address
- A day-one checklist with your state's deadlines
What it does not cover
We are not accountants or attorneys and we do not give tax advice. We run the operational side. For your personal tax position we introduce you to a licensed professional.
Timeline
3 to 15 business days depending on the state, stated before we start.
Pricing
It comes in writing once we have looked at your case, with what it covers and what it does not. Usually within an hour during working hours.
Get a sense in two minutesHow we work
Three steps, the same ones, on any job.
We look at your case
Where you live, where clients are, how you get paid, what comes up when someone searches your name. That decides what is actually needed, which is often not what you expected.
We write down what and how long
A quote stating what is included, what is not, and the timings. Where it depends on third parties we say so before starting, not when it stalls.
We do it, and you know
Same number from start to finish. The deadlines that affect your company are ours to track, and we warn you in advance.
FAQ
Do I need to travel to the US?
Not to form the company. For the bank account it depends on the bank: some open remotely, some do not. We tell you up front.
What does it cost to keep?
It depends on the state: from tens to several hundred dollars a year between franchise tax and registered agent. It is in our initial quote.
What we do not do
It sits here and not at the bottom of a legal page, because it is the part that saves you time if you read it first.
- We do not give tax or legal advice: we are not accountants or attorneys. For your personal position we introduce a licensed professional, better before you incorporate than after.
- We do not promise outcomes that depend on third parties: a removal is decided by the platform, a ranking by Google, a filing by the authority. Where it is not in our hands we say so first.
- We do nothing that requires hiding something from someone. If that is the road to the result, there is another road or there is none.
- We do not publish client names without their written consent, not even when it would suit us.
- We do not write numbers we have not measured.
